Elsie is this wild, super colorful, fast-paced rogue-like action platformer. Basically you are running through randomly generated levels smashing an army of robots and grabbing tons of weapons and items to keep every run fresh and exciting. You will be mastering all kinds of crazy “magitek” weapons and abilities to just dive into the chaos.

The game takes place on Planet Ekis a place that’s loaded with natural resources and all kinds of scientific breakthroughs. But, like it’s not all sunshine and rainbows because the planet’s getting wrecked by natural disasters. The story kicks off with this scientist Dr. Grey, who’s like a total genius. He built these androids called “The Guardians” to stop the disasters from destroying everything.

Now, you’ll be dashing, diving, and shooting your way through stages full of enemies that move around in cool ways. You’ll also be parrying attacks like a boss, pulling off these sick, perfectly-timed moves. Planet Ekis looks awesome, too, with these neon-lit biomes. And because the levels are procedurally generated, each run is totally different with new enemies and challenges. You’ll be making all these strategic decisions on what to upgrade and what weapons to pick up, so each run feels super unique. You can try different combos to find the perfect playstyle to wreck everything in your way.

There’s all sorts of tough enemies, huge bosses, and biome Guardians to take down, and learning their patterns is key if you wanna survive. Oh, and you can also play as this melee character Andru who brings some crazy weapons and abilities to the fight. He’s all about getting up close and smashing bots.

The Guardians’ power came from something called the Arclight Core which let them control elements, and everything was going great until – outta nowhere – the Guardians just vanished. Now, natural disasters are back in full force, and a whole army of robots is attacking Dr. Grey’s city, Neotoño.

In the middle of all that chaos, Dr. Grey builds one last android: Elsie. She’s different from all the others, and it’s up to her to track down the Guardians and save Ekis from getting totally destroyed. You’ll play as Elsie, this absolute powerhouse of a robot, blasting through waves of enemies to find the Guardians and save the planet.
