“Alright, so Galandrix is this sick roguelike arcade game where you get this top-down view and it’s all about fast action mixed with some real-time strategy. Basically, you pick a ship shoot off into space and face these endless waves of enemies. It gets wild real quick. You can blow up enemy ships or smash into asteroids to collect parts and trade with space merchants to upgrade your ship’s gear. As you level up, you can add more crew to your ship or upgrade it to unlock extra storage bays, which gives you a better shot at surviving all the chaos.

You progress through different zones fighting off all kinds of weird enemies bosses and anomalies and your ultimate goal is to free your faction from this massive AI-controlled enemy horde. You can choose from 3 factions and each one has 3 unique ships so that’s 9 ships total. Every ship has its own set of abilities that get stronger as you level up, plus slots for different weapons, engines power cells, systems sensors,and shields. Your ship also starts with a crew that gives you bonuses and you can grow that team as you level up too.

At first, your ship’s load-out is pretty basic but as you progress you can scavenge better gear from enemies or trade with merchants after each round. You can also find currency by blasting enemies or mining asteroids and with enough of it you can upgrade your ship gamble for better gear or buy spare parts. When it comes to weapons you’ve got loads of options—lasers missiles beam cannons and a ton more. You start out with just basic blasters but you’ll eventually get your hands on some insane experimental weapons from the old world. You can even assign hotkeys and weapon groups to take control of your entire arsenal making it easier to destroy everything in your path.

Eventually you’ll come across these massive crazy-difficult bosses that guard the gates between zones. These things are meant to stop you in your tracks so you’ve gotta be super careful when you take them on. Defeating them is the only way to push forward and claim total victory for your faction.”
